Forever Bare BBL is the latest in revolutionary hair removal treatments. The process is certainly faster, safer and a lot more comfortable than conventional treatments to remove unwanted hair.
Men and women both are plagued by the very common problem of unwanted hair. Excessive hair growth can easily make one self conscious when wearing a swimsuit, shorts, a sundress and/or tank top. For women, unsightly facial hair is particularly embarrassing and distressing.
Men can be very self-conscious about excessive chest and back hair at the beach when they take their shirt off. Imagine how it would feel to never worry about unwanted body hair or for women, embarrassing facial hair, ever again.
In recent years, the use of intense pulsed light and lasers have gained acceptance, as the most effective and convenient methods for permanently removing unwanted hair.
These treatments selectively target the pigment contained in the follicles of the hair. The energy absorbed then turns to heat. When the temperature gets high enough, the hair follicles are damaged to such an extent that any re-growth is impossible.
The Forever Bare BBL by Sciton possesses an extremely effective system for cooling the epidermis (skin) throughout the treatment, which makes this procedure far more comfortable than having hair removed by other types of devices or machines.
With Forever Bare BBL you can safely remove hair from any part of your body. Most commonly, people have areas of the face, chest, back, bikini area, legs and underarms treated.
To receive optimum results, multiple hair removal sessions would be required, averaging six to eight treatments. The reason for this is that hair tends to grow in cycles and can only be permanently removed if the treatment is done in the growth phase. One could reasonably expect to have 70% to 80% of unwanted hair removed using this method.
A highly trained laser certified RN and/or technician would be the professionals with the qualifications to perform the treatment.
Prior to being treated the hair would need to be shaved. This allows the light emitted to penetrate the skin and be absorbed by the hair follicle’s bulb. It is preferable that clients shave themself before arriving for treatment.
If you are on any medication that might make you sensitive to light, like antibiotics or certain herbal remedies, it is vital that you mention this before your treatment. If you’ve had recent exposure to the sun, this too must be discussed before your treatment. It is recommended that anyone undergoing hair removal refrain from applying tanning lotions or any spray-on tanning products for 2 weeks before having the hair removal procedure.
For safety reasons, your eyes will be covered with safety glasses or shields. You will then have a clear gel applied to the area of your skin undergoing the hair removal procedure.
The energy from the device will then be delivered to the skin using a cooled applicator. The technique used will be either done with a gliding or stamping motion. You may feel some slight discomfort throughout the procedure, but you should be able to tolerate this quite easily.
Once you have had the treatment hair will no longer grow in that spot, however there will be a tiny fragment of hair that remains in the follicle, which is still under the skin. This tiny fragment can take from 1 to 3 weeks to emerge to the surface and drop off.
When dormant follicles start growing again further treatments are required. This usually happens within a period of 4 to 8 weeks, all depending on which area of the body is being treated.
