Actually, it is a substance that is naturally present in the human body. This gel-like ingredient is mainly found in the spaces between the body cells and in other fluids like that of eyes and joints.

Present in the cells, this ingredient has great skin benefits like it provides moisture, suppleness and firmness to the skin. Have you ever thought that why babies have such a smooth and plumpy skin? It is because the level of hyaluronic acid is much high in the new born babies which goes on decreasing as they grow older. No doubt that we cannot get same plumpness and firmness as that of childhood but this substance can do a lot for restoring our skin. This substance is used in many types of eyes surgeries and present in the joints, it ensures that your joints are able to absorb every shock in the case they get.

But don’t get confused by the name of this substance. Normally, the acids affect our skin in the negative way but this substance has ho harsh effect on our skin. On the contrary, it makes our skin smooth and wrinkle-free by hydrating it and thus, make us look younger than our age.

Botox, Dysports and Dermal fillers are the methods in which the injections are made to the different parts of your skin to improve its firmness and remove wrinkles. Many substances are there that can be used in these injections and hyaluronic acid is one of them. Botox had been used throughout the 20th century but its use increased in 1990 when it was first used for the treatment of wrinkles. Dysporthas recently got approval from FDA and before that it was only used in Europe for various skin treatments. Both of these methods have same effects but Dysport is more effective and shows quick and longer effects than Botox.

Dermal fillers are also an other method of adding fullness to the facial skin which helps in enhancing the lips and eyes’ appearance. Depending on the type and condition of the skin, doctors may also recommend the person to have any one of Botox or Dysports along with Dermal fillers. It will give better and long-lasting results.

As all these methods can use hyaluronic acid as one or whole of their ingredient, we can understand its importance. Here we are mentioning some benefits of hyaluronic acid:
